35° NORTH is a candle company from Cyprus. Every candle is hand-poured in small batches from 100% natural soy wax, and every fragrance is built around a specific place on the island at a specific moment. The brand was founded by Nerina Horns, chandler and perfumer, and everything is made in Cyprus.

The Cyprus Collection holds eight scents.

Blossom Plain is the orange groves of the Mesaoria in March. White Wall is night jasmine on a village wall after dark. Salt Cliff is sea salt and wild sage on the rocks below Petra tou Romiou at noon. Held Noon is wild fig and rosemary in the suspended stillness of the Cypriot midday. Cold Smoke is frankincense and olibanum inside Kykkos monastery in October. Dark Harvest is pomegranate and amber in the courtyards of Omodos during the wine harvest. Dew Light is the lemon groves of Akrotiri at dawn, before the heat arrives. Honey Stone is the carob harvest on the Fasouri plain in August – dark, resinous, bittersweet.

Each candle burns for forty to fifty hours in a 300ml glass jar. The wax is renewable, biodegradable and vegan. The fragrance oils are phthalate-free and IFRA certified. The wick is cotton. The labels carry each scent’s coordinates. Nothing is approximate.
