Piano-Channeling Soundjourney: A musical massage for the heart and soul

What happens if you combine spiritual techniques like Channeling with Piano improvisation?
Find out yourself by attending this live event with the spiritual teacher and multi-instrumentalist René Amtenbrink (from Germany, currently based in Paphos).

At a Piano-Channeling Soundjourney, the feeling that some artists describe as “becoming one with the audience” is taken to another dimension, creating a new and unique experience: both children and adults describe it as magical.

After a bit of a warm-up playing, René enters a state where he plays beyond regular improvisation, letting the music channel through him guided by feeling into what suits the connection towards the audience in the here and now. In that state also some kind of energy transmission may take place, gently guiding the listener to a connection with themselves. The intention set for the sound-journey is to support the highest good of everybody.

The feedbacks range from “just relaxing and falling asleep” to “getting happy, feeling warmth around the heart and releasing tears”. Some get ideas of what wants to be done next in their life, and some may have a bit of a psychedelic trip like the impression of “flying around the universe”. If you see dragons that fly around the room, do not shout at them and let them be. They are probably part of the show, or more specifically, your mind’s dream.

It will pass. Stay calm. Enjoy.

For others, it may just be music that has little profound effect. Yet, the music itself also invites everybody to reflect or mirror aspects of one’s personality and life story as a musical canvas. It is a completely individual experience and your interpretation, depending on your current mood and what resonates within you in the moment.

If you are open to experiencing such kind of magic, this event is for you.
This sound-journey is experienced best with closed eyes while laying down and it’s not to be disturbed by applause.
Afterwards, you may shake hands or give a hug instead of applause.

PLEASE BRING your own yoga mat or something similar, as well as a pillow and blanket to make yourself comfortable on the ground. As this event takes place during the day, maybe bring something like an eye-mask to cover your eyes.
DRESS RECOMMENDATIONS: Come as you are – have comfortable clothes to lie down and relax in. No physical exercises will be done. The decoration at René’s Piano-Channeling is white and purple – you may wear something white or purple if you like the idea, but keep it easy.
Black clothes or blankets may block a bit of the energy, but it will work nevertheless (don’t worry about a black belt, etc.).

The Mill’s conference room offers space for about 30 sound-travellers on the ground (chairs available if preferred).

The sound-journey will have two sets of channelings, about 30 minutes each, with a small break in between. After the main event, there will be room for some questions, feedback and giving attention to things that showed up during the session. Along with the introduction, this makes about 1,5 hours duration in total.

Based on experience, about half of the listeners sense a deeper connection. For the other half, it will be mainly music. 1 out of 10 people release some tears during a deeper session. 1 out of 100 persons feel not ready for it and prefer to not expose themselves to this experience.

This is a sacred space that requests everybody to attend this experience without alcohol or “recreational drugs” – the body may produce its own drugs and this can have unexpected side effects if interfering with other substances or psycho-active medication. If you are emotionally unstable (for example, you have a diagnosed mental illness), bring somebody along, as a precaution, who can hold you in case you get a strong reaction.
