Acharya Shri Unniraman is the Director and Founder of Patanjali Yoga Research Centre & Charitable Trust. Acharya hails from the Cherukulam village in Kozhikode District in Kerala, India. He had his teachers training from NIS Patiala, Bihar, India and was educated in Kriya Yoga at the Bihar School of Yoga where he became a disciple of his Guru H.H.Swami Satyananda Saraswathi. He has also been educated on Naturopathy. Acharya has been giving classes in Yoga and Naturopathy to the students of Kottakkal Ayurveda Medical College and Ollur Ayurveda Medical College. He has participated in several International Yoga Seminars and Conferences. He has also conducted several Yoga Therapy Camps exclusively for patients of diabetes, bronchial asthma, hyper-tension, cholesterol and cardiac problems, etc. It is under his leadership Patanjali Yoga Research Centre has been giving yoga awareness and practice classes to students in the Travancore region of Kerala State under the Health Awareness Program jointly conducted by World Diabetic Foundation, Denmark and Kulanada Medical Trust Hospital & Diabetes Care Centre, Pandalam. Acharya offers his service by giving Yoga Therapy to people from different walks of life suffering from stress, diabetes, B.P., asthma, arthritis, heart disease, migraine, epilepsy, spondylitis, etc. He is also a famous expert in hypnotherapy and naturopathy.
